Meet at First Street Dock in Tofino at 8:30 a.m., where we will board a boat to Flores Island for a hands-on beach cleanup. Participants will help collect marine debris, sort and record items found on the shoreline, and learn about practical actions that can help reduce plastic pollution in our oceans.

We will return to Tofino at approximately 2:30 p.m., where we will deliver the collected debris to the Ocean Plastics Depot at the Tofino Landfill for proper processing.

The trip includes:

Boat transportation to and from Flores Island

Lunch

All cleanup supplies and safety equipment

Training on debris data collection and marine plastic pollution
