We are always looking for volunteers from all walks of life for all sorts of volunteer roles.

If you want to attend a beach cleanup, do not fill out the form. You can see the event page and sign the waiver and just show up! Please only fill out the form if you want to sign up for one of the open roles.

As a Surfrider Pacific Rim volunteer you will be supported by an amazing local crew of volunteers in your community, and be part of the larger global Surfrider Foundation organization. Your dedication to the protection and enjoyment of our beaches, waves and ocean is amazing! And we thank you.

OPEN volunteer ROLES

  • Planning and executing local campaigns on the Pacific Rim! This is an exciting role, as campaigning is the reason we exist as an organization.

  • The Volunteer Secretary supports the smooth running of Surfrider Pacific Rim by taking meeting minutes at monthly EC meetings and supporting with various campaign and program tasks. This role is ideal for someone organized, reliable, and detail-oriented who wants to play a key part in protecting the ocean, beaches and waves! R

  • Support the recruitment and retainment of our volunteer crew! You’ll get to organize public meet ups, celebratory parties, volunteer appreciations, and whatever else you dream up to celebrate the team!

  • Email us to join dune restoration activities in the Pacific Rim National Park this summer!

  • Support our chapter’s public events, including volunteer meet ups, beach events, film nights, fundraisers, or whatever else you can dream up!

  • Calling all content creators! Are you passionate about photography, videography or graphic design? Do you want to combine the powers of art, design, and conservation to create impact and drive change in your community? If you would love to hit the beach, get out in the community and take photos for social media, the newsletter and website or design eye-catching graphics for event promo and campaign efforts, we would love to hear from you!
