CSA NATIONALS, SEPT 24-26

CSA nationals are coming up (Sept 24-26) and we need you! It's sure to be an awesome weekend, and we're stoked for some Surfrider beach hangs like the good old (pre-covid) days.

For those of you who are new to Surfrider: we partner with beach events like this one in order to advise and support the organizers to be as waste-free as possible, e.g. minimizing the use of disposable items, auditing their waste diversion processes, and ensuring the beach is left cleaner than they found it through mini beach clean events! It's also a great opportunity for us to inform attendees about the programs and campaigns that Surfrider Pacific Rim run in the community, and provide education and information on how they can get involved. So, if you're a friendly, outgoing person that enjoys hanging out on the beach and talking about ocean conservation, this is the ideal volunteer opportunity for you!!

We're looking for folks who can commit to 3-4hours on any of the days. Please shoot me an email letting me know your availability and I'll slot you into the schedule! There will also be some logistical tasks we're looking for support with - gear coordination and transport etc - let me know if this would also be something you could support with!
